Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco

• Upon arrival at Cusco airport, Mágicos Caminos staff will greet you and comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
• You will have the rest of the day free to explore or relax and acclimate to the altitude, with the flexibility offered by Mágicos Caminos.
• Overnight at your hotel in Cusco, organized by Mágicos Caminos, to prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2: City Tour in Cusco

• In the morning or afternoon, as per your choice, we will begin the City Tour in Cusco, organized by Mágicos Caminos.
• The tour starts with Mágicos Caminos’ transport taking you to the center of Cusco.
• Our first stop will be Cusco Cathedral, located in the city’s main square, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour discovering its rich history.
• After the cathedral visit, we’ll walk to Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, where Inca and Spanish cultures merge in a space full of history and meaning.
• After exploring Qoricancha, we’ll head outside Cusco to visit the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Site, where our Mágicos Caminos guide will explain the importance of its imposing stone walls.
• We will then visit Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial site, followed by Pucapucara and Tambomachay, where you’ll learn more about the history and culture of the Incas.
• After the tour, we’ll return to Cusco and take you back to your hotel for some rest after a day full of history and discoveries.

Day 3: Sacred Valley Tour – Aguas Calientes

• Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, provided by Mágicos Caminos.
• Our Mágicos Caminos transport will pick you up from your hotel (if your hotel is outside Cusco’s center, we recommend arranging an additional transfer for convenience).
• During the tour, we’ll stop at the Taray viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and take memorable photos.
• Next, we’ll visit the archaeological site of Pisaq, guided by a Mágicos Caminos expert who will explain the site’s rich history.
• Afterward, we’ll stop at the Pisaq artisan market, where you’ll have the opportunity to buy unique souvenirs.
• We’ll then head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a restaurant selected by Mágicos Caminos (the restaurant name will be provided in the detailed itinerary).
• After lunch, we’ll continue to Ollantaytambo to explore its impressive archaeological site with our Mágicos Caminos guide.
• After the tour, we’ll go to Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
• Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, Mágicos Caminos staff will escort you to your hotel.
• At the hotel, you’ll have a briefing with your Mágicos Caminos guide to go over the details for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.
• Overnight in Aguas Calientes, with accommodation organized by Mágicos Caminos.

Day 4: Machu Picchu Full Day

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, organized by Mágicos Caminos.
• The Mágicos Caminos team will then transfer you to the Aguas Calientes bus station, where you’ll board the bus to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
• Upon arrival, we’ll begin a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, where our expert Mágicos Caminos guide will explain the history and secrets of this world wonder.
• After exploring Machu Picchu, we’ll take the bus back to Aguas Calientes.
• Once back in Aguas Calientes, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch organized by Mágicos Caminos to recharge.
• After lunch, we’ll head to the Aguas Calientes train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
• Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, Mágicos Caminos’ private transport will take you back to Cusco.
• Once in Cusco, we’ll transfer you to your hotel, completing a day full of unforgettable adventures at Machu Picchu.

Day 5: Humantay Lake Tour

• No breakfast at the hotel today, as we’ll depart early for Humantay Lake, with everything organized by Mágicos Caminos.
• We’ll take Mágicos Caminos’ private transport to Mollepata, where we’ll enjoy breakfast in this beautiful Andean town.
• After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey to Soraypampa, the starting point for our hike to Humantay Lake.
• From Soraypampa, we’ll embark on a 1-hour hike, accompanied by our expert Mágicos Caminos guide, who will show you the beautiful landscapes and points of interest along the way.
• Upon reaching Humantay Lake, you’ll have time to take photos and listen to our guide’s explanation of the site’s significance.
• After exploring the lake, we’ll return to Soraypampa, where a delicious lunch awaits, organized by Mágicos Caminos.
• After lunch, we’ll board our transport back to Cusco.
• Once in Cusco, Mágicos Caminos will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can rest after a day filled with nature and adventure.

Day 6: End of the Trip

• Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, organized by Mágicos Caminos.
• Enjoy a free day for independent activities or relax in Cusco before your departure.
• At the scheduled time, the Mágicos Caminos team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport, ensuring a comfortable and punctual transfer for your return flight.
• Mágicos Caminos will bid you farewell, thanking you for choosing this adventure and looking forward to welcoming you again for future journeys.

• International flights, which must be arranged independently by the client and are not provided by Mágicos Caminos.
• Domestic flights, not included in the Mágicos Caminos package unless previously agreed upon.
• Meals not mentioned in the itinerary, which will be the client’s responsibility outside of those provided by Mágicos Caminos.
• Tips or extra expenses, which are not part of the package and are at the traveler’s discretion.
